What is the series about?
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a prequel to the iconic fantasy saga, taking us one hundred years before the events of Game of Thrones. There are no dragons here yet, but there are harsh trials where true friendship is forged and genuine loyalty is revealed.
Duncan and Egg face the challenges of knightly tournaments and bravely confront the dangers lurking along the roads of the kingdom, time and again proving what it truly means to be a real knight.
Surprisingly, the pilot episode is rich in humor while remaining respectful to the source material. Episodes run for about 40 minutes, and at times it is far more engaging to watch the characters’ dialogues than the battle scenes. Special mention goes to Dan Romer’s music, which adds an epic atmosphere to the story.
